A back cap and hat combo for the Stanley Ipkiss Sim to hide his hair under was one of the first items completed, followed by face paint, and a bald back cap for his no-hat version. While L1 would be replaced with Musaran for the 2007 version, L1's look was nearly perfected. The goal was to make a somewhat credible and terrifying villain, rather than the cheesy college mascot turned murderer that was in the original Gerosha Prime version.
